Plants
All plants are green and nice but not all are
beneficial to gardeners.
Aquatic plants can be very pleasing like the
lotus and water lilies. Some can be damaging
like the water hyacinth or even duckweed.
We prefer to recommend aquatic plants for
ponds to be beneficial and requires a very
low attention. The aromatic pandanus is one
of such plant for garden pond.
Plants are like natural filter particularly in water.
They tend to absorb a certain compound like
nitrates to grow and at the same, it ‘cleans’ up
the water.
Though aquatic plants are beneficial and
pleasing, but you can still do without them
in ponds.
